I just wanted to let you know that my mom is settling in very well at The Pines at Heartwood and she is very comfortable and secure with her caregivers. The staff in general appear to know all of the residents by name and they go out of their way toa ddress the residents individually. They truly treat the residents with compassion and dignity. I have observed the medical staff taking the extra time to assure that my mother ‘s medications are correct. They will even return with the containers and read to her the doseage and directions as described on the packaging. Shirly enjoys the dining room and I believe her favorites are breakfast and lunch. She especially enjoyed the entertainment that the Cloggers brought forth the other day. I want to personally thank you for addressing my concerns and reassuring me that my mother is in good hands.

I have been living at The Pines at Heartwood for nearly two years. There are many things I enjoy about my life at The Pines. I have made many friends, both staff and residents. The staff at all levels, is kind, friendly and compassionate. Each day I look forward to spending time with my friends who have become like family.

“My mom and dad were both in need of assisted living arrangements and Heartwood was the answer to our family’s search for quality care in a safe setting. From the first meeting with the nurse coordinator to their admission to the facility, we were greeted with nothing but kindness, compassion, and sincere interest in my parents. I would highly recommend Heartwood to anyone who is in need of assisted living.”
